Berlis visite le Tempodrom!

Du 8 au 12 avril dernier, l'équipe Berlis Projekt était à Berlin pour concrétiser ce beau projet. Retour en images sur la visite du 11 avril, où nous avons visité le Tempodrom auprès de Marko Schilp, Sales Manager de ce lieu événementiel.
From the 8th to the 12th april, the Berlis Project team was in Berlin to concretize his wonderful project. Back to the images on the 11th visit : we met Marko Schilp, Sales manager of the Tempodrom which is a venue.
A propos du Tempodrom
Le premier mai 1980, l'infirmière Irene Moessinger utilisa son héritage pour fonder dans le milieu de Postdamer Platz le Tempodrom grâce à une tente de cirque. Ce lieu événementiel alternatif est rapidement devenu le lieu culturel le plus populaire de Berlin. Il accueillant plus de 3,000 visiteurs pour des événements tels que des cirques, des concerts de musique rock et classique, des pièces de théâtre avant-gardistes, des événements sportifs, des congrès, des festivals et bien plus encore. Au fil des années, la tente a dû changer de lieu à plusieurs reprises et l'idée d'une structure solide s'est développée. Le nouveau Tempodrom a été financé par le gouvernement fédéral, l'Union Européenne et de nombreux donneurs. In 1999, la construction débute sur l'ancienne station Anhalter dans le quartier de Kreuzberg. En décembre 2001, le nouveau Tempodrom est inauguré avec la cérémonie des "European movie awards".
De nos jours, le Tempodrom peut accueillir entre 40 et 4 000 invités grâce à ses 5 espaces. Le Foyer (1 000m²), l’Arène principale (2 800 m²), la petite Arène (225 m²), le Parvis (2 000 m²) et la Terrasse sur le toît (3 500 m²) sont modulables afin de créer des événements variés pour les entreprises ou des événements publics comme les concerts.
About the Tempodrom
On May 1st 1980, then nurse Irene Moessinger used her inheritance to found the Tempodrom in shape of a circus tent in the midst of Potsdamer Platz. The alternative venue soon became one of Berlin’s most popular cultural institutions for up to 3,000 visitors, hosting circus productions, rock and classical music, avantgarde theatre, sport events and congresses, international festivals and many more. Over the years, several relocations within Berlin had to be undertaken. After repeatedly moving, the idea of a solid location developed. The new Tempodrom was financed inter alia by the federal government, the European Union, the state and various donors, and in 1999 construction work started at its current location, the former Anhalter Bahnhof in Kreuzberg. In December 2001 the opening of the new Tempodrom as a solid location took place within the award ceremony of the European movie awards.
The Tempodrom is very versatile thanks to its 5 areas. It can be home of events from 40 people up to 4,000 people. So, the Foyer (1,000 m²), the Big Arena (2,800 m²), the Small Arena (225 m²), the Forecourt (2,000 m²) and the Roof Terrace (3,500 m²) can be organized to create various private events for companies or public events like concerts.
Berlis Projekt et le Tempodrom
Le 11 avril, l'équipe Berlis Projekt a été accueillie par Marko Schilp, commercial du Tempodrom. Durant la visite, Marko a raconté l'histoire de ce lieu original puis nous a emmené dans l'arène principale afin de nous présenter les différents événements qui ont été réalisés au Tempodrom. Un grand merci à lui pour nous avoir accueilli !
Berlis Projekt and the Tempodrom
The 11th April, the Berlis Projekt Team was welcomed by Marko Schilp, Sales Manager of the Tempodrom. During ou visit, Marko explained us the history of this original venue. Then, the group visited the Big Arena to learn about the different events which have taken place in the Tempodrom. A huge thanks to him for welcoming us !
